I recently upgraded the website from Joomla 1.5.20 to Joomla 2.5. The upgrade process was rather difficult until I installed jUpgrade. jUpgrade made the upgrade a breeze so I strongly recommend that anyone trying to upgrade from older Joomla versions invest the time and effort to install jUpgrade. The overall administration in Joomla 2.5 is much easier than pervious versions but the lack of documentation makes for a bit of a learning curve.
